Cookie Policy

Effective date: April 3, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage (collectively referred to as "cookies and similar technologies" in this policy).

2. How We Use Cookies

The gripos.dev website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Necessary — Essential for the website to function. These cannot be disabled. They store your consent preferences only.
  • Analytics — Help us understand how visitors interact with the site (Google Analytics 4). These are only activated after you grant analytics consent.
  • Marketing — Enable ad attribution and campaign measurement. These are only activated after you grant marketing consent.

3. Cookie Inventory

The following cookies are used on gripos.dev:

_ga_*AnalyticsGoogle Analytics 4 — maintains session state and tracks session-level interactions.2 yearsGoogle LLC

4. Browser Storage (localStorage & sessionStorage)

In addition to cookies, we use browser storage APIs. These are subject to the same consent requirements as cookies under the ePrivacy Directive:

5. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure that Google Analytics and Google Ads tags respect your consent choices. By default, all analytics and marketing storage is set to "denied" before any Google scripts load. Only after you explicitly grant consent are these storage types activated. This architecture ensures no tracking data is collected without your prior approval.

6. Managing Your Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:

  • Cookie banner — Appears on your first visit. Choose "Accept All," "Reject All," or "Customize" to set granular preferences.
  • Manage Cookies link — Available in the website footer at any time. Click it to reopen the preferences modal and change your choices.
  • Browser settings — You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Note that this will reset your consent preferences and the banner will reappear.

7. Third-Party Cookies

The only third-party cookies on gripos.dev are from Google Analytics 4 (set by Google LLC). These are only placed after you grant analytics consent. We do not use any advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or other third-party tracking technologies. Google processes this data under their Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and reset the cookie consent banner so you can review and re-consent under the updated policy.

9. Contact

If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at privacy@gripos.dev.
