Figma + Grip OS

Figma is the industry-standard design tool, and Grip OS bridges the gap between design and code. Read design tokens and variables from your Figma files, sync color palettes and typography to your codebase, and generate diffs when designers update components. The integration works through the Figma MCP plugin and Station's token management tools, enabling a continuous design-to-code pipeline without manual copy-paste.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Grip OS write back to Figma?
Currently, the integration is read-only — it reads tokens and variables from Figma. Writing back to Figma is on the roadmap.
Can I detect when design tokens change?
Yes. The station_token_diff tool compares current Figma tokens against your codebase and shows what has changed.
Does it work with Figma's Variables feature?
Yes. The integration reads Figma Variables (collections, modes, and values) alongside classic design tokens.
