Slack + Grip OS
Slack is the default communication hub for engineering teams. Grip OS connects to Slack through incoming webhooks and fleet batch operations, letting you send notifications, post status updates, and receive alerts without opening the Slack app. Set up channel-specific webhooks for different alert types — security events to #security, deploy notifications to #engineering, fleet health to #ops. The integration is lightweight and does not require a full Slack app installation.
How to Connect Slack
Create an Incoming Webhook in your Slack workspace at api.slack.com/apps.
Copy the webhook URL for the channel you want to target.
Open Grip Station > Settings > Integrations > Slack.
Paste the webhook URL and give the channel a label.
Test with a sample message to verify delivery.
