Ollama + Grip OS
Ollama lets you run open-source language models entirely on your Mac. Grip OS auto-discovers your installed Ollama models and makes them available alongside cloud providers in the same interface. Use Llama, Phi, Gemma, Qwen, and hundreds of other models with zero API cost and complete data privacy. Ideal for sensitive work, offline use, or as an always-available fallback when cloud providers are rate-limited.
How to Connect Ollama
Install Ollama from ollama.com or via Homebrew: brew install ollama.
Pull a model: ollama pull llama3.2 (or any model you prefer).
Open Grip Station — your Ollama models appear automatically in the model picker.
Select an Ollama model from the picker or press Cmd+M to switch.
